Explaining the Lasik procedure

Step 1:    Inserting anesthetic drops

 
 

Step 2:    Inserting Lid Guard ( to prevent blinking )

 
 

Step 3:    Inserting Antibiotic drops

 

Step 4:    Marking the cornea ( to be able to reposition the flap by aligning the rings up after laser ablation )

 

 

Step 5:    Checking the micro keratome before placement on the eye.    ( to make sure that the keratome is ready to use before creating the corneal flap )

 
 

Step 6:    Creating the flap on the cornea with the micro keratome

 

Step 7:    Lifting the flap

 
 

Step 8:    Laser reshaping the cornea

 

Step 9:    Replacing the flap and irrigating underneath

 

Step 10:    Waiting for the flap to adhere sealing itself, within two minutes

 

Step 11:    Last check to make sure everything is back to normal
